This building is not the First Governor's Residence, but an old crank mill built in 1827 in the neighbourhood.
 


1969

The Florida peninsula shouls be visible on the stamp.
 


1976

American flag with 15 horizontal stripes instead of 13.
 


1982

The 'Fairlie' who wrecked in 1840 was a small sailing boat. The Fairlie featured on the stamp howver is a 765-ton bark which was still in use in 1865, with the same name.
 


1986

Governor Philip meeting the Home Society ? After a corrected stamp had been issued, we knew that he met the Home Secretary !

On the strip between 2 stamps : Norfold instead of Norfolk
